At the request of the United States and Albania, the UN Security Council will discuss the alleged “filtration” of Ukrainians on the territory of Russia, informed Dmitry Polyansky, First Deputy Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the World Organization, on his Telegram channel.

He noted that “having sucked their fingers to the bone in search of an uncomfortable topic for us, they insisted” on discussing this issue. “Of course, we have something to say in response, we have some surprises in store for our former Western partners, let them not relax and have no illusions that we can be taken by surprise,” Polyansky said.

He also spoke about the last meeting of the UN Security Council on the subject of shelling of the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant. The first deputy representative noted that Russia “initially had no illusions” about the results of the mission of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

“It was difficult to imagine that Mr. Grossi would suddenly dare to admit the obvious: Ukraine is shelling the station, thereby endangering the security of all of Europe,” Polyansky emphasized.

By data As of September 7, the Border Directorate of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Rostov Region, over 16,000 citizens crossed the border per day to enter Russia through checkpoints located in the region. According to the UN, since the beginning of the special military operation, the Ukrainian border has been crossed 11,536,470 times. At the same time, almost 5 million citizens have returned to the country since February 28. It is noted that this figure reflects cross-border movements and not individuals.

September 3, TASS, citing a source in law enforcement agencies informedthat refugees who arrived in Russia from the Donbass and Ukraine, as well as residents of the territories affected by hostilities, were provided with material assistance in the amount of 11 billion rubles.
