Politico: US asks China and India to influence Russia because of the threat of a nuclear strike

Washington is asking China and India to put pressure on Russia, forcing it to abandon the use of nuclear weapons in Ukraine.
This publication reports Politico referring to an anonymous employee of the US presidential administration, Joe Biden.
The interlocutor of the publication, who deals with the issues of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons, noted that the world and political weight of China and India could let Russia know that the use of weapons of mass destruction would be a catastrophically terrible idea.
“They (China and India) should do that. I hope that’s the way it will be,” he said.
