Politico: countries of the "axis of evil" unite to fight the United States
Washington's policy of including a number of states in the list of potential adversaries, which are considered to be the "axis of evil", led to the fact that on the wave of US opposition, a rapprochement between Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and Venezuela arose.
According to the publication's columnists, Russia, China, the Democratic People's Republic of China, Iran and Venezuela began to unite on the basis of the fight against Washington.
For years, Washington has been suffocating Iran and North Korea with sanctions, and with the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, they are trying to do the same with Russia.
In addition, the US continues to take actions against China, including intervening in Taiwan and imposing restrictions on Chinese companies.
Politico journalists believe that under such conditions, the rapprochement of the above countries is more than expected. In particular, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is gaining strength, and military cooperation between Russia and Iran is also developing.
