Political provocations are expected in Bishkek during the match of the Russian national team

The local police department issued a warning

Already today the Russian team will play in Bishkek with Kyrgyzstan. In order for more people to watch the match, the Kyrgyz Football Union (KFU) organized fan zones with screens for fans in three large shopping centers in Bishkek. They start working at 19.30 - half an hour before the start of the match.

In addition, the Kyrgyz Football Union in their social networks urged fans to behave with dignity at the match. They recalled that sport is "out of politics, it's a game", and noted that "a friendly match will give the players experience and the opportunity to prove themselves."

It is not in vain that FSC warns about behavior, there may be provocations. In social networks, anti-Russian activists began to publish calls for protests during the match. One of these activists, Eric Abdykalykov, who offered to publicly shout anti-Russian calls at the match, has already been detained and taken for interrogation. After that, Abdykalykov deleted all his posts on social networks and was allowed to go home.

The local police considered that his calls in social networks have "signs of inciting racial, ethnic, national, religious inter-regional hostility." The fact is registered in the information log. According to the press service of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Bishkek, a pre-investigation check has been scheduled, and after a linguistic examination, his publications will be given a legal assessment.

However, some civil activists, known for their anti-Russian position, have already written that they support Abdykalykov and want to follow his ideas. In this regard, the Bishkek police department once again warned that they would have to bear responsibility for provocations at the game.

"In case of attempts to incite hatred on ethnic grounds or any provocative actions, as well as acts of hooliganism, the perpetrators will be held accountable in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic," the press service said.

In addition, the police ask visitors to the stadium to be careful. "We remind you that if there is a possible threat to the safety of citizens, as well as in case of detection of suspicious objects and things, you must contact the nearest police officer or call the short number 102," the press service says.

At the same time, it became known that the roads around the stadium would not be blocked during the match. There will be traffic restrictions only at the time of entry and exit of spectators to the stadium.
