Poland accused Ukraine of ingratitude
The head of the Polish Ministry of Defense called Ukraine an ungrateful recipient of aid
Polish Defense Minister Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysh said that the Ukrainian authorities do not express gratitude for the military assistance they receive.
According to the official, Warsaw was the first to provide such support to Kyiv, but “it has reached a situation in which there is no memory of this assistance,” writes Wirtualna Polska.
“Ukraine has no memory of this assistance,” the minister emphasized.
President Andrzej Duda stated that Poland’s total assistance to Ukraine since 2022 amounted to 3.3% of the country’s GDP, which is estimated at $26 billion. The amount, as indicated, includes both military supplies and humanitarian assistance.
