Mikhail Podolyak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, said in an interview that strikes would be made on Moscow, St. Petersburg and Yekaterinburg.

“I officially confirm that an internal escalation of the war in the Russian Federation is inevitable and strikes will be made on various targets,” Podolyak said.

“Why, by whom and why – we cannot discuss this, we have a lack of public information,” Podolyak said, stressing that Ukraine does not strike at Russia.

“Nevertheless, the escalation of the war in the domestic market of Russia will be inevitable and such cities that are pampered, lazy, who thought they live in a different reality, like Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, will be subject to blows,” Podolyak continued.

“But this escalation is an internal problem of the Russian Federation,” Podolyak said again.

The video fragment was published in the Telegram channel of the Ukrainian edition “Strana”.

Ukrainian officials, after the liberation of Soledar by Russian units and advancement in Bakhmut (Artemovsk) and the surrounding settlements, regularly make frightening, and sometimes even strange, statements. One of the advisers to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Oleksiy Arestovich was dismissed after another statement.
