Press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov said that the Kremlin will negotiate with Belarus on a ban on the export of a number of manufactured goods. He believes that relations between the countries will allow discussing this issue “in a constructive manner.”
“Of course, this is an issue that will need to be discussed together, after all, we have a union state. It is clear that the union state does not cancel the sovereignty – neither Russia nor Belarus, but still the basis of our relations is strong enough to discuss all these issues in a constructive manner, ”said Dmitry Peskov at a press call.
“I have no doubt that such discussions will continue,” he added.
Today, September 23, the Council of Ministers of Belarus introduced a temporary ban on the export of 250 types of industrial goods outside the country. The list includes cars, motorcycles, medical devices, locomotives, mobile phones, batteries and a number of other goods. The ban does not apply to goods of Russian and Belarusian production, as well as to goods in transit.
