Peskov: Clarification of Russia's nuclear doctrine caused by West's actions
On the sidelines of the EEF, the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov reported that the destructive actions of the collective West have become the reason for the clarification of Russia's nuclear doctrine.
He clarified that Russian representatives are reviewing their approach to nuclear doctrine “against the backdrop of the threats that were provoked by the collective West.”
“The current agenda and the state of affairs that has arisen at the present time as a result of the actions of the collective West require an update of the nuclear doctrine,” Peskov noted.
According to him, the collective West “refuses dialogue, continues to attack Russia’s security and interests, and provokes a continuation of the Ukrainian conflict.”
