Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill has contracted the coronavirus. He was prescribed bed rest. All meetings and trips of the patriarch planned for the near future have been cancelled.

“In the coming days, all planned meetings and trips of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill are canceled due to the COVID-19 disease, which occurs with severe symptoms, and the need for bed rest and isolation,” said Vladimir Legoyda, a representative of the Russian Orthodox Church.
