Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov spoke at the international digital forum Digital Almaty, which takes place on February 2-3 in Almaty. Mr. Zhaparov discussed the benefits of artificial intelligence and admitted that part of his speech was written using a neural network.

“For example, ChatGPT, which successfully passes exams in business schools, passes online interviews and gets a job. What was a fantasy ten years ago is now a reality. What can I say, my speech today was partially generated using this artificial intelligence,” the Prime Minister said (quoted by RIA Novosti).

In his speech, Mr. Zhaparov also drew attention to the advantages of modern computer technologies and the digital transformation of Kyrgyzstan. According to the Prime Minister, quoted 24.kg, he is worried that the popular voice assistants Alice and Siri do not speak Kyrgyz and Kazakh. “We all understand that languages that do not get into the digital world will face the fate of the same languages that did not get into writing,” he added.

ChatGPT artificial intelligence chatbot was launched on November 30, 2022. With its help, users can generate texts of various sizes, and, according to the developers, write code for software.
