Para-badmintonists of Pomorye took five medals at the Russian Championship

Ramenskoye, near Moscow, hosted the Russian Badminton Championship as part of the Summer Paralympic Games “We are together. Sport”. 100 athletes from 20 regions of the country competed for medals. The Arkhangelsk region was represented by five athletes.
Irina Borisova took two gold medals. The athlete won the single category and was the first in the mixed category together with Alexander Mekhdiev from the Kostroma region. In the doubles category, Irina and our Anita Golovtsova won silver in the SH6 class.
Mikhail Chiviksin took two silver medals in the singles and doubles categories. In pairs, he performed together with Ramil Yuldashev from the Samara region, the regional Ministry of Sports reported.
