Three-day voting takes place from 9 to 11 September in 82 regions of Russia. As Pamfilova said earlier, more than 4,700 election campaigns at the regional and local levels will be held.

Voters in eight subjects can take part in remote electronic voting (DEG) — Moscow, Kaliningrad, Novgorod, Tomsk, Yaroslavl, Kaluga, Kursk and Pskov regions. The DEG was used to vote the day before by Deputy Chairman of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev and Speaker of the Moscow City Duma Alexei Shaposhnikov, and today remotely voted Russian President Vladimir Putin.

With the help of the DEG, 1,006,499 voters (13.31% of their total number) voted in Moscow by 20.00 on Friday, Dmitry Reut, deputy chairman of the Moscow City Electoral Committee, told Vedomosti. According to him, this level of “online turnout” is comparable to the results of last year, when elections to the State Duma were held – then 1.3 million Muscovites also voted online on the first day.
