From January 27, the owner of the Russian assets of Otis, the diversified holding S8 Capital, will produce elevators under the Meteor brand. The Russian legal entity was renamed at Meteor Lift on December 23, 2022. This was reported to journalists by the CEO of the new Russian legal entity of the company Igor Mayorov.
Mr. Mayorov added that the company's subdivisions in the Moscow region of MOS OTIS JSC and Shcherbinka OTIS Lift CJSC are now in the process of renaming. According to him, the name "Meteor" was chosen from 400 options.
