Ossetian volleyball players will perform for the first time at the Open Championship of the Southern Federal District
The Alanochka team from North Ossetia will perform for the first time at the Open Championship of the Southern Federal District in volleyball as part of the 1st League of the Russian Championship for the 2024-2025 season, the press service of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania reports.
The first round of the Southern Federal District Volleyball Championship will be held on September 26-29 in Krasnodar. Volzhanochka from Volgograd, Kuban from Krasnodar, and Krasnye Krylya from Taganrog will take part in it.
The Alanochka team trains under the guidance of coach Fatima Kozaeva. Thanks to the work of the Wrestling Training Center, the number of young men and women involved in volleyball has increased.
