Orthopedist advised mobilized Russians to closely monitor the condition of their legs

Their health must be maintained

As part of the partial mobilization announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin, 300,000 Russians will be called up for service. Despite the various circumstances, orthopedic doctor Andrei Litvinenko is convinced that it is very important for mobilized citizens to monitor the condition of their feet, keeping them warm and dry.

In conversation with NEWS.ru Litvinenko noted that, first of all, the Russians who fell under the mobilization need to purchase shoes in size. In addition, as the doctor noted, it is also important to monitor the correct putting on of socks in order to prevent the formation of wrinkles, otherwise a callus may appear at the place of the crease.

According to the orthopedist, mobilized citizens need to keep their feet warm and dry, and treat them with something containing alcohol or baby moisturizers. The specialist clarified that in extreme cases, even sunflower oil is suitable for treating cracks.

In conclusion, Litvinenko stressed that those who were mobilized should immediately take advantage of the opportunity to wash their feet, and that their legs should be rested above the waist.
