The Oryol athlete became the winner of the International Karate Tournament “Armenia Open”. The competitions were held the other day in Yerevan. Athletes from Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Iran came to compete for the title of the best karateka. The Russian national team included the only representative of the Oryol region, a pupil of the well-known school “Eagle-Karat” Varvara Golovina.
The girl performed in the weight category up to 50 kilograms and at the age of 18 years and older. In this category Orlovchanka had two fights. Her rivals were karatekas from Armenia and Russia. The representative of the Oryol region managed to overcome both athletes. She won the final 8-0.
