The head of the Luhansk People’s Republic, Leonid Pasechnik, after announcing the results of the referendum on joining the region to Russia, said that on Wednesday, September 28, he would prepare an appeal to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to consider the relevant issue.
“Tomorrow I will definitely prepare a relevant document addressed to the President of the Russian Federation… with a request to consider the issue of joining the Luhansk People’s Republic to the Russian Federation as a subject within the established legislative field,” Pasechnik said.
Earlier it was reported that in the LPR, following the results of processing 100% of ballots on joining the Russian Federation, 98.42% of those who voted were in favor.
