On the night of October 8-9, residents of Russia, in case of suitable weather conditions, will be able to observe the maximum of the Draconids meteor shower.

The Draconids are named after the constellation Draco, “against” which the meteor shower will take place. Usually the number of meteors is 15-20 per hour, but sometimes it reaches 100 or 400.
