Olympic medalist Shtyl held a master class for Khabarovsk rowers

In Khabarovsk, a rowing master class was given by Olympic medalist and world champion in canoeing Ivana Shtyl. He congratulated the guys from the Dolphin sports school on choosing such an interesting sport, wished them high achievements and gave some advice.

Ivan Shtyl was born in Komsomolsk-on-Amur in 1986. He has already achieved a lot in big-time sports: he became a 17-time world champion in rowing, competed at the Summer Olympics in London, where he took a prize, and became a European champion nine times. Now he plays for the Primorsky Territory and trains in Vladivostok.

He wished the Khabarovsk guys to communicate more - in his opinion, such skills help in sports, as does perseverance in any difficulties. He also said thanks to parents who support their children's endeavors.

The guys were interested in a variety of questions. They tried to learn from the athlete how to cope with anxiety and excitement at high-level competitions, how to create the right mindset to win. The rower gladly shared his personal experience with them.
