Nothing, founded by OnePlus co-founder Karl Pei, introduced A new generation of wireless earphones – the Ear (2) model with a signature design in a transparent case. The new Nothing Ear (2) is available in white only – the $149 earphones are now available for pre-order and will go on sale starting March 28th.

The device, which is an upgraded version of the Ear (1) model, retained the 11.6mm drivers, but they received a polyurethane-graphene membrane. The three built-in microphones responsible for the active noise reduction system feature an improved voice pickup algorithm and the ability to adapt to the characteristics of the ear and the volume of the environment. It is stated that the headphones, which have three modes of noise reduction, are able to reduce the level of external noise by up to 40 dB.

To improve sound quality, Ear (2) has added support for the LHDC 5.0 codec, which allows you to play audio in Hi-Res format. With the Nothing X application, you can customize the sound to suit the characteristics of the ears of a particular user.

The IP54 dust and water resistant earbuds last up to 6 hours on a single charge, while the wireless charging case (IP55 water and dust resistant) extends the battery life up to 36 hours.
