Russian journalist, media manager and presenter Andrey Norkin said on NTV that those actors and directors who opposed Russia’s special military operation on the territory of Ukraine lost their jobs in Russian guest theaters.

He named the actress Varvara Shmykova, who now constantly complains to subscribers on social networks that she was left without roles in the theater. He recalled that Shmykova previously went to rallies against the current authorities.

Norkin also stated that Alexander Molochnikov was also “expelled” from everywhere. The media manager said that the director is better known for his romance with Comedy Woman star Ekaterina Varnava than for his work in the theater.

He recalled to Molochnikov the “repentant speech” in front of Ukraine, though later removed from social networks. He also ranked Sergei Zhenovach and Dmitry Krymov among the artists who lost their roles in the theater due to criticism of the special operation.
