New equipment for special children

Repairs at the Strelna school in the Sukhinichsky district of the Kaluga region began in mid-April. The progress of the large-scale renovation is monitored by both the municipality’s leadership and supervisory agencies, Deputy of the Legislative Assembly of the Kaluga Region Elena Loshakova and the parental control headquarters.

The school is repairing, under the federal program for the modernization of school education systems, not only the facade of the building and the roof, but also the interior. The sports hall has already been renovated at the Strelna school, new equipment has arrived.

The school was built in 1985, and since then the overhaul has never been carried out.

“The result of such a large-scale program will be the creation of a comfortable, safe and modern educational environment that inspires and motivates children to learn, create and develop talents. The program is being implemented with the participation of schoolchildren, parents and teachers,” said Alexander Anikeev, Minister of Education and Science of the Kaluga Region.

“All participants in educational relations have a positive attitude towards the repair, we are very glad that our school got into this program. For us, this is a quality education, the demand for graduates, an individual approach to each child, the development of children’s abilities,” says Tatyana Kolgan, headmaster of the school.

And although 44 students are not so many for a school, the very fact of the renovation of the institution is very important. Children from large families, children with disabilities, children with disabilities are trained here. The teaching staff includes 15 people.

The school itself, in its work, focuses on such areas as artistic reading, research activities, and sports. Children have repeatedly become winners and prize-winners of district, regional competitions, the Delphic Games. The school is introducing a TRP complex, about 95% have insignia in this standings.

“My child will have access to all modern programs and will be able to exercise in the safest and most beautiful gym,” the parents of the students say.
