Vasily Nebenzya, Russia's permanent representative to the UN Security Council, said that the Ukrainian air defense is responsible for the destruction of houses and civilian casualties, since launchers are installed in the center of settlements.
At a meeting of the Security Council, the Russian diplomat explained that such actions by Kyiv lead to the fact that fragments of missiles or missiles that have lost their course hit targets that Russia was not going to hit.
"Houses get damaged and people die in them due to the fault of the Ukrainian air defense, which is located not on the outskirts of cities, but in the central regions," he added.
As confirmation of his words, he referred to photographs of Ukrainian users, which show hits on residential buildings in Kyiv and Izhgorod. As it turned out, these are American air defense missiles supplied to Kyiv.
