Nearly 13,000 passports of citizens of the Russian Federation have been issued in Crimea to residents of new regions of the country, Head of the State Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan Vladimir Konstantinov said.
“To date, we have issued about 13 thousand Russian passports to residents of new regions. At the same time, more than 64,000 people in Crimea received a one-time payment in the amount of 10,000 rubles, which is carried out on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin,” wrote Vladimir Konstantinov in his Telegram channel.
He also noted that there are about 150 people in temporary accommodation centers. According to him, Crimea is now playing the role of a transit region; during the NVO, thousands of refugees from the Donbass, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions left the republic for the mainland of Russia.
