NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg appealed to NATO countries and urged them to increase the production of ammunition.
According to him, quoted by Bloomberg, at the moment, ammunition stocks have decreased markedly.
“We need a lot more ammunition throughout the alliance. Among other things, we need to sign contracts with various defense companies. In this case, the industry will be ready to increase production and invest in it,” Stoltenberg said.
He specified that NATO would join the meeting of defense ministers in Brussels to facilitate the conclusion of contracts.
