Russia will spend almost 4.7 trillion rubles on national defense this year, which is 1.2 trillion rubles. more than planned when the budget for the current three-year period was approved. In 2023, spending will remain at an increased level, but from 2024 they will begin to gradually decrease
In 2022, Russia’s spending on national defense amounted to 4.679 trillion rubles, follows from the document “The main directions of the budget, tax and customs tariff policy for 2023-2025.” (ONBNTTP, Vedomosti has it). This is 1.2 trillion rubles. more than was approved for 2022 – according to the law on the federal budget for the current three-year period, it was planned to spend 3.5 trillion rubles.
