Musk's company is allowed to test brain chips on humans
The press service of the American neurotechnology company Neuralink, founded by billionaire Elon Musk, announced on Twitter that it had received permission to conduct human trials.
It is clarified that the permission was issued to the company by the Food and Drug Administration of the US Department of Health.
Recall that in early 2022, Neuralink requested permission to test brain chips in humans.
"We ... have received FDA clearance to begin clinical trials in humans! This result ... represents an important step that will one day allow our technology to help many people," the message says.
