Murashko: vital drugs in 2022 went up by 1.9%

In 2022, prices for medicines from the list of vital and essential drugs increased by 1.9%, Head of the Ministry of Health Mikhail Murashko said on Tuesday during a government meeting with the President of the Russian Federation.

"For vital medicines, the rise in price over the past period amounted to 1.9%," the minister said and noted that "this is significantly lower than the inflation rate."

As for medicines not included in this list, then, as the head of the Ministry of Health said, their rise in price turned out to be "10% lower than the inflation rate."
