The Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Mikhail Murashko said that the active foci of anthrax in Russia were localized. March 15, head of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolaev reported that two residents of the republic were infected with anthrax.
“Everything is localized,” Mr. Murashko told reporters (quoted from TASS). On March 17, quarantine was introduced in the Chuvash village, where cases of infections were recorded.
Today, March 23, in the morning at the local administration of the TFR told already about three identified cases – the department opened a criminal case under the article on violation of veterinary rules.
