Moskvich plans to open dealerships in 23 Russian cities


On October 3, the Moskvich auto concern opened the acceptance of applications for granting the status of an official dealer in 23 cities of Russia. Applications will be accepted until October 21, the company is considering the possibility of cooperation with dealerships involved in both sales and maintenance of cars.

As noted in the press service of Moskvich, quoted by TASS, the company plans to start developing a dealer network in Russia from the following cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Novosibirsk, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Rostov-on-Don, Voronezh , Krasnoyarsk, Omsk, Ufa, Perm, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Naberezhnye Chelny, Saratov, Stavropol, Izhevsk, Tyumen, Orenburg and Kemerovo. In the future, the automaker plans to open dealerships in other cities.

May 16 Mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin declared on the resumption of production at the Renault Russia plant - now it produces cars under the Moskvich brand. The local assets of the French group Renault, which curtailed its activities in Russia, were transferred to state ownership.
