Thirty directors of the country’s schools competed in the semi-finals of the competition. The competition task assumed that the directors would present and defend their management projects, created jointly with the school staff.

Ahead of the five finalists are two tests – “Master Class” and “Press Conference”. The “master class” is held on a topic known in advance to the principal of the school and assumes that the head of the educational institution will show his best managerial qualities. At the “Press Conference” competition directors will give non-standard answers to non-standard and interesting answers.

– When answering, you must not forget that you are not just a person, but a school principal. It’s not easy, you need to look at the situation more broadly, from different angles,” said Matvey Shparo, member of the jury, director of the Center for Additional Education “Laboratory of Travels”.

Based on the results of the “Master Class” and “Press Conference”, on October 4, the name of the winner of the All-Russian competition “Director of the Year of Russia – 2022” will be announced.
