The mayor’s office structures announced six competitions for the improvement of territories in four districts of Moscow. Tenders for the “performance of work to bring the streets and territories into a standard state” were announced by the structures of the mayor’s office – the overhaul directorate of the Moscow overhaul department and the State Budgetary Institution “South Automotive Roads”. The second institution placed the largest competition – for 1.1 billion rubles.

The documentation refers to the improvement of areas in the south of Moscow – including Moskvorechye-Saburovo, Tsaritsyno, Zyablikovo, Brateevo, Orekhovo-Borisovo and Biryulyovo.

It is planned to replace 75 km of curbs here (and lay out another 40 km of new fences), equip 29.4 thousand square meters. m of rubber crumb coating and 16.3 thousand square meters. m – from artificial grass. Under the contract, 48 trees and 4.4 thousand shrubs will also be planted. Work should be carried out from April to August 2023, applications are accepted until February 8.

The southern administrative district of Moscow is planned to be landscaped under other contracts. So, according to the tender for 381.8 million rubles. the contractor must put Nagatinskaya Street in order, equipping, among other things, 4 km of curbs, 6 thousand square meters. m of paving slabs and 20 thousand square meters. m lawns. Manholes and storm sewers also need to be repaired. Under the contract for 328.8 million rubles. on Chertanovskaya Street, 66 trees are to be cut down and 14 new ones to be planted, 42,000 sq. m of asphalt pavement and lay 14 km of curbs. The Veshnyaki district in the east of the city (for 361 million rubles), Savelovsky in the north of Moscow (for 196 million rubles) and some streets in the center of the capital, including Shabolovka (under a contract for 400 million rubles), are also going to be landscaped. In the latter case, the work will affect 4 km of curbs, 6 thousand square meters. m of paving slabs, 5 km of street lighting cables will be laid, storm sewers will be repaired, 26 trees will be cut down (14 new ones will be planted). The total amount spent on six tenders is over 2.7 billion rubles.

Judging by the public procurement website, in 2022 the authorities published 67 tenders to “bring to a normal state” streets and public spaces in the amount of about 43 billion rubles. The largest competitions were for the improvement of Leninsky Prospekt (over 6 billion rubles), the repair of the Krasnopresnensky overpass (3.2 billion rubles) and two dozen lanes in the districts Arbat and Khamovniki (2 billion rubles). In January 2023, the metropolitan municipal economy reported that this year it was planned to repair 19 squares, streets and embankments (including Vorobyovskaya embankment), 74 parks and “significant objects” (including the South River Station), as well as 1 .6 thousand city yards.
