Moscow has increased production volumes of new high-tech X-rays
Capital industrialists are producing new generation X-ray machines for the domestic and foreign markets on the basis of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. The details were provided by the Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy Anatoly Garbuzov.
“During the implementation of the project to produce digital X-ray machines, two units of medical equipment produced by VKO Medprom were supplied to medical institutions in the capital. The equipment was sent to hospitals in the Moscow, Leningrad and Kaliningrad regions, Kamchatka and even Syria,” noted Anatoly Garbuzov.
The characteristics of the devices are not inferior to their foreign analogues. The volume of investments exceeded 500 million rubles, the company employs more than 110 people. The remote monitoring system allows you to diagnose systems at a distance. The devices run on domestic software.
“Modern equipment makes it possible to diagnose various pathologies at an early stage within a few minutes, and patients and laboratory assistants receive a minimal dose of ionizing radiation,” said Andrey Patrakov, general director of VKO Medprom.
The capital company "Imbian Lab" produces a test for detecting influenza viruses type A and B, as well as "swine flu". The first batch of 50 thousand tests will be released in October.
“This new development will simplify diagnosis and ensure the prescription of correct medical treatment,” said Gennady Degtev, CEO of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
