Moscow authorities, on behalf of the Ministry of Defense, opened 20 additional points for mobilization

The Moscow authorities opened 20 additional collection points for mobilized people, since not all military registration and enlistment offices of the capital can provide a call for partial mobilization. This was announced by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

“Not all active military registration and enlistment offices in Moscow are able to provide a call for partial mobilization, therefore 20 reserve collection points in good premises have been created in Moscow. In them, draft commissions can work calmly, under normal conditions, with recruits. Including to consider complaints,” he wrote in his Telegram channel.

Formerly Moscow authorities reportedthat temporary mobilization points were opened in the capital at the Moscow Museum, the Darwin Museum, the Viktyuk Theater and the Museum of the Heroes of Russia and the Soviet Union.

Mobilization in Russia has been taking place since September 21. The Russian Defense Ministry says it plans to call up 300,000 reservists. According to media reports, the authorities plan to mobilize up to 1.2 million Russians. In the Kremlin it refuted.
