The youth hockey team “Tambov” reached the quarterfinals of the Cup of Regions. In the fourth game with Lipetsk, the Tambov team won and won the series with a score of 3-1.
“Wolves” had to show character. In the first period, the Lipchans hit the gates of Dmitry Menshatov twice and took the lead 2:0. The hosts of the ice bounced back within three minutes in the second game segment – Bogdan Senotov scored in the majority and Rasim Shakirov – 2:2.
The fate of the match and, as it turned out, the first round of the playoffs, was decided in extra time. Which lasted only 27 seconds – Shakirov scored a double and brought the Tambov team to the quarterfinals!
