The head of the Safe Internet League, Ekaterina Mizulina, said that messages about the upcoming blocking of YouTube in Russia, circulated in telegram channels on her behalf, are fake.
Information about the blocking of the platform since February 28 previously appeared in the fake telegram channel of Mizulina Jr.
“The statement circulated on my behalf about a possible blocking of YouTube in Russia on February 28 is not true,” she said.
Mizulina also said that she would complain to Roskomnadzor that fakes were being spread on her behalf. Recently, a lot of fakes have appeared on Telegram, allegedly written on her behalf, she added.
