Mintsifra wants to release from the partial mobilization of the leaders of the IT-sphere

The Ministry of Digital Development is considering the possibility of including senior positions in the IT field in the list of specialties that fall under the deferment from partial mobilization. This was announced by the head of the ministry Maksut Shadayev.

“We are working on the possibility of including management specialties in the list of specialized ones for IT,” Mr. Shadayev said in response to the question of whether they would grant a deferment to general directors and their deputies, regardless of the presence of the corresponding specialty in the diploma (TASS quote).

The Minister also said that the founders of companies in the IT sector are not entitled to a deferment if they do not work as employees of accredited companies. To receive a deferment for individual entrepreneurs and self-employed in the IT sector, they will need to register as a legal entity and obtain accreditation, the minister said.

Two days after the start of partial mobilization of the Russian Ministry of Defense clarifiedthat citizens working in certain specialties in the banking, IT-sphere and mobile operators can apply for a deferment. Mintsifry promised apply to the Ministry of Defense on behalf of IT specialists if the Russians working in this field are denied a deferment.
