Citizens of the Russian Federation called up as part of partial mobilization will later be able to receive the status of a combat veteran, as well as benefits corresponding to this status. About this in the Telegram channel of the Government of the Russian Federation told First Deputy Minister of Labor Olga Batalina. Corresponding changes were made to the law on veterans, she shared the details.

"Subsequently, the mobilized citizens will be able to receive the status of a combat veteran. Accordingly, a significant package of social guarantees is put on the status," the First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection emphasized.

On September 21, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin announced a partial mobilization in the country. According to the head of the Russian Defense Ministry Sergei Shoigu, it is necessary in order to control the line of contact of 1000 km and the liberated Ukrainian territories. During the mobilization, as noted by the head of the Russian military department, 300,000 reservists will be called up.
