Graduate students received the right to deferment from mobilization under a new decree of President Vladimir Putin, the Ministry of Education and Science reported. The department noted that the document applies to all students.
“All students in state educational organizations under the program that have state accreditation, full-time or part-time, have a deferment from mobilization, including graduate students, since they are also students,” the radio stations explained. “Moscow Speaks” on the hotline of the Ministry of Education and Science.
Mr Putin the day before, September 24, signed a decree on deferment from mobilization for full-time and part-time students. Partial mobilization was announced by the President on 21 September.
