Ministry of Defense: Ukrainian military equipped strongholds in residential buildings in Kharkiv

Colonel-General Mikhail Mizintsev, head of the National Center for Defense Control of the Russian Federation, said at a briefing in the evening that data had been received on the next equipment of strongholds by the Ukrainian military in residential buildings.

According to Mizintsev, a residential apartment building on Pribugskaya Street was occupied in Nikolaev, and a large number of armored vehicles were placed on the adjacent territory. At the same time, residents were forbidden to leave nearby houses, and independent attempts of people to evacuate to safe areas are severely suppressed.

“Also in Kharkiv, on the upper and lower floors of residential buildings (Chernyshevsky Street), units of Ukrainian troops and the nationalist battalion “Kraken” are deployed,” Mizintsev said, adding that military warehouses were equipped there, and on the roofs – firing positions for MANPADS.

Also, the firing positions of the Ukrainian military were recorded in a church on Dnepropetrovsk street in Pavlograd. And from the territory of boarding school No. 32 in Konstantinovka in the DPR, artillery and MLRS are firing at the positions of the RF Armed Forces.
