Metropolitan Artemy called on Amur hockey players in Khabarovsk to pray before training



A prayer service was held in the Transfiguration Cathedral with the participation of the Amur hockey team. As reported in Press service of the Khabarovsk diocesetogether with the players, the general director of the HC "Amur" Evgeny Lugin and head coach Andrey Martemyanov prayed. Metropolitan Artemy of Khabarovsk and Primorsky Region addressed the athletes after the prayer service:

"We must always remember: a person must not only try himself, do everything in his power, but also ask for God's help. You must also pray so that the Lord strengthens your physical and spiritual strength. You must begin each training session with prayer, especially when you are performing for the honor of the region and the country, and the Lord will accept your humble prayer."
