Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev gave an interview to Russian media. In a conversation with journalists, he said that the threat of a nuclear conflict had not passed, but only increased. According to him, the supply of foreign weapons to Ukraine brings the nuclear apocalypse closer.

“Has the threat of nuclear conflict passed? No, it hasn’t passed! She has grown. Every day deliveries of foreign weapons to Ukraine brings the nuclear apocalypse closer,”— informed Mr. Medvedev, answering questions from Russian journalists and users of the social network VKontakte.

According to the deputy chairman of the Security Council, the West miscalculated when it did not believe in the degree of determination of the President of the Russian Federation and refused to give guarantees of Russia’s security.

Earlier, Mr. Medvedev said that the Russian army could defend any type of weapons, including nuclear, if the US wants Russia’s military defeat. Dmitry Medvedev believes that this is obvious to all “reasonable forces.”

On the situation in Ukraine online broadcast “Kommersant”.
