Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Russia Dmitry Medvedev gave an interview to Russian media. In a conversation with journalists, he said that the threat of a nuclear conflict had not passed, but only increased. According to the deputy chairman of the Security Council, the West miscalculated when it did not believe in the degree of determination of the President of the Russian Federation and refused to give guarantees of Russia’s security.
Earlier, Mr. Medvedev said that the Russian army could defend any type of weapons, including nuclear, if the US wants Russia’s military defeat. Dmitry Medvedev believes that this is obvious to all “reasonable forces.”
