Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev expressed the hope that his victory at the tournament in the Dutch Rotterdam was able to give a smile to his daughter.
In the final of the ATP 500 category tournament, he defeated Italian Yannick Sinner – 5:7, 6:2, 6:2.
After the semi-finals, Medvedev’s wife said that when he gave an interview on the court, his four-month-old daughter began to smile and laugh in front of the TV. “I hope she does it again today,” Medvedev said at the end of the match.
For the 27-year-old tennis player, this is already the 16th ATP singles title and the first this season.
