Medvedev in Tula discussed the acceleration of arms supplies to the RF Armed Forces

Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev visited the enterprises of the military-industrial complex in Tula. With representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the defense industry, Mr. Medvedev discussed the acceleration of arms deliveries. Mr. Medvedev also discussed the acceleration of arms deliveries and the fulfillment of the state defense order.

This is not the first trip of the deputy chairman of the Security Council to the regions to monitor the situation with the state defense order. At the end of August in Perm, Dmitry Medvedev visited “Motovilikha Plants” and the Perm Powder Plant. He also took part in a meeting on the development of the defense industry and the implementation of the state defense order.

In mid-July, President Vladimir Putin signed law on special measures in the economy. Special measures include temporary reactivation of mobilization capacities and facilities, unbooking of material assets of the state reserve and procurement from a single supplier to fulfill the state defense order and to form reserves.
