Medvedev: conflict in Ukraine could last decades

During his visit to Vietnam, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev discussed a number of issues with journalists, including the situation in Ukraine.

According to the politician, the Ukrainian conflict runs the risk of dragging on for several decades.

"This is all for decades, probably. This is a new reality, new conditions of life... It is necessary to destroy the very nature of Nazi power in Kyiv," Medvedev said.

According to him, if this is not done, then armed clashes will be repeated periodically.

"Three years of truce, two years of conflict, and everything will happen again," Dmitry Medvedev said.
