Medvedev announced a worthy performance of “United Russia” in the elections

The chairman of the United Russia party, Dmitry Medvedev, at a conference call with the regions, said that the preliminary results of the election campaign testify to the worthy performance of the party in all regions where elections were held.
“In general, I want to say that the results, the very, very preliminary ones that we received, including the results of exit polls, testify to the very worthy performance of the United Russia party in all regions where the vote was held,” said Mr. Medvedev (quoted from “ RIA News”).
According to him, the election campaign “demonstrated the consolidation of a huge number of our people around the president’s decision on the need to conduct” a military special operation in Ukraine. All goals of the operation will be achieved, Mr. Medvedev added.
Yevgeny Revenko, deputy secretary of the general council of the party, said that United Russia assesses the result in the current elections as one of the best and attributes the success to a “patriotic consensus.”
From September 9 to 11, elections of different levels were held throughout Russia as part of a single voting day. The final results of the elections will be summed up by September 14. This time, as the head of the CEC Ella Pamfilova said, is necessary in order to carefully consider the complaints and appeals received.
