Media: Ukrainian refugees in Sweden forced to beg



Ukrainian refugees in Sweden cannot feed their families on a meager allowance. Many of them chose to return home, according to a report by the Swedish television channel TV4.

“If we go somewhere, we collect bottles all the time,” a Ukrainian emigrant told reporters. “I feel like a poor person who has to walk and beg.” She said that she could not go to work, because the children to kindergarten.

A woman from Chernihiv, according to the report, lives with two children in a refugee shelter in the city of Tebu, not far from Stockholm. The state pays the emigrant a daily allowance of 71 SEK (about 400 rubles) and 43 kroner (about 240 rubles) for each child. This, of course, is not enough for food, clothing, transport and medical care in one of the developed European countries.

In addition, benefits in Sweden paid by the migration service have not been indexed since the 90s of the last century.
