From February 1 next year, the Russian government will significantly increase maternity capital payments.
Indexation of payments will be 12.4 percent. In absolute terms – 589.5 thousand rubles for the first child. For the birth of a second baby, parents will receive 779 thousand rubles.
This was reported by the Pension and Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation.
Maternal or family capital is a measure of state support for Russian families in which, from January 1, 2007 to December 31, 2019, a second child was born or adopted, or from January 1, 2020 to December 31, 2026 inclusive, the first child was born or adopted . To obtain a certificate, you should contact any territorial body of the Russian pension fund or a multifunctional center (MFC).
