Artists throughout history have been among the first to turn to invention. Often they themselves were scientists who combined science and creativity. Mastering the techniques of engraving, photography, video filming and modern technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) - each step is accompanied by the emergence of new authors, works, and a new creative vision. "Kommersant" decided to figure out what place neural networks have taken in modern art and how Russian artists create works together with neural networks, and most importantly, what kind of future they themselves see for this joint creativity.
