The Moscow children’s folk song ensemble “Malachite” and the capital’s children’s creative group “Little Masters” became the winners of the All-Russian competition of choir and vocal groups, which ended in the All-Russian children’s center “Eaglet”.

The competition was held in several age groups and in three nominations: “Connection of generations” Me, mom, dad, grandparents: favorite song “,” Vocal group “Musical Kaleidoscope” and “School choir” Songs of Youth “. According to the results of the final creative competition, in which 45 teams took part, the Moscow Children’s Folk Song Ensemble “Malachite” became the winner of the competition in the nomination “School Choir” Songs of Youth “in the younger age group, and the children’s creative team “Little Masters” became the winner in this the same nomination in the age category “combined choir”.

Welcoming the finalists of the competition, Minister of Education Sergei Kravtsov said that more than 100,000 schoolchildren from different regions of the country, as well as family groups, took part in the competitive tests.

– The competition covered more than half of Russian schools – more than 20 thousand. Choirs play a special role in the life of the school, because the ability to listen and hear each other is important here,” the minister noted. “This year the competition was loved by children, teachers and parents.
